A Journey To Vibrant Coimbatore To Attend A Business Meeting

Due to an upcoming business meeting, I had to travel to Coimbatore. The meeting was going to be held in just two days, so I quickly booked tickets to the city on Air India. The airline offered affordable ticket rates and I did my booking for the journey through its online booking system.

My Journey on Air India Was Very Comfortable

Air India is the country’s national carrier and one that offers very exciting flight packages and has a network that covers the length and breadth of the country. The airline is known for its high quality passenger services and facilities.

It offers travelers quick connectivity to key metro cities and secondary cities through direct flights. Currently the airline offers flights to 51 locations and covers more places like none other.

The carrier’s Delhi To Coimbatore Flights lasted four hours and thirty five minutes and include a stopover. My journey on the carrier was comfortable. Once the flight landed in the Coimbatore airport, we took a cab to reach the hotel venue.

I Had Booked Accommodation in a Posh Four Star Hotel

I stayed in the posh four star Jenney Residency which is located in Avinashi Road, This hotel has a majestic structure and is fitted with ultra sophisticated comforts and facilities, ranging from lavish room to spectacular ceiling and a grand exterior.

My room was neat and inclusive of the latest in guest comforts ranging from television, wi-fi and much more. I went down to the restaurant to enjoy delicious cuisine. The hotel also has a bar and coffee shop. The hotel’s banquet hall is huge and the perfect place for feasts and buffet dinners.

With the most sophisticated business services in place, this hotel has all that is needed to conduct a meeting or a conference. Various office activities can be conducted from its business center.  Recreation facilities provided include kid’s pool, gym and spa.  Other guest facilities are housekeeping, doctor on call and lift.

I took a hotel cab to visit the client’s location for the meeting.   My session with the client lasted five hours, during which time, we discussed many things ranging from the upcoming projects, to people who would be working on it to the costs. After a satisfactory discussion we decided to go ahead with the project.

Visiting Eden Gardens and Tycoon Restaurant

After the meeting was over, I took a cab to reach the famous Eden Garden restaurant. The menu is an interesting array of non-veg items from which I ordered the spiel non-veg thali as I was very hungry after the long discussion. I quite liked the fish fry that it included along with various other dishes such as Poriyal, Sambhar, Rasam, Hite Rice, Sweets etc.  I also recommend the Malabar Parotha and Chicken Deep Fry.  I returned to the hotel for resting.

The following day I went to shop in the wholesale markets of the city and bought clothing and home décor items. On the way back, I stopped over at the Tycoon restaurant, which serves Chinese, South Indian and North Indian foods. 

I enjoyed many dishes here, after which I came back to the hotel to pack for the return journey.
